The
Mortgage Process To begin the
mortgage process, one of our mortgage
consultants will complete an application
with you. At this time, we will ask you
questions regarding your employment, income,
debt and assets. With your permission, we
will obtain a credit report. This
information will allow us to provide you
with options for a mortgage.
Following is a list of information that
is helpful to have when we complete your
application:
· Most recent pay stub(s).
· Most recent W2 forms.
· Most recent bank statements (checking,
savings, money market).
· 401K statements.
· Stock portfolio statements.
Once complete, we will submit your
application and supporting documentation to
one or more of our lenders for approval.
This usually takes no more than 24 hours and
often even less. Once your application is
approved, the lender will provide us with a
list of conditions that we must provide.
These conditions will include copies of your
pay stubs, bank statements and signed
disclosure forms.
Upon receipt of the approval, our office
will order title work for the property that
will be financed. We will also order an
appraisal. Depending on your situation and
the mortgage you have applied for, we may
have to order a survey, pest inspection
and/or structural inspections.
Once all of the conditions have been
provided, we will submit the entire package
to the lender. Once accepted, the lender
will issue a Clear to Close. When we receive
the clear to close, we schedule a closing
that is convenient for you, and any others
involved in the transaction.
